Dining at Elysium St Mawes

Three distinct experiences. One exceptional destination.

At Elysium St Mawes, dining is woven into every part of the guest experience. From freshly baked pastries and artisan coffee in the morning, to Mediterranean-inspired small plates overlooking the Cornish coast, and carefully curated wines enjoyed long into the evening, our collection of dining spaces has been designed to celebrate the simple pleasure of gathering around great food and drink.

Rooted in Cornwall and inspired by the Mediterranean way of life, every menu champions exceptional local produce, fresh seafood and seasonal ingredients.

The Restaurant

Mediterranean Soul, Cornish Shores

The restaurant at Elysium St Mawes brings together the vibrant flavours of the Mediterranean with the exceptional seafood and produce of Cornwall.

Inspired by long lunches, shared tables and the relaxed elegance of Europe’s coastal destinations, our menu is centred around seasonal small plates designed for sharing. Fresh seafood, locally sourced ingredients and bold Mediterranean influences combine to create dishes that encourage exploration, conversation and connection.

From grilled fish and shellfish to vibrant vegetable dishes, artisan breads and carefully crafted specials, every plate celebrates the abundance of both land and sea.

Whether joining us for a leisurely lunch overlooking the water or an evening of shared dining with friends and family, our restaurant offers a relaxed yet refined experience that captures the spirit of St Mawes.

The Bistro

Freshly Baked Mornings

Each day begins in our bakery, where the aroma of warm pastries, artisan breads and freshly brewed coffee welcomes both guests and locals alike.

Designed as a relaxed gathering place at the heart of Elysium, the bakery offers handcrafted pastries, breakfast favourites, seasonal bakes and expertly prepared coffee throughout the morning. Whether you’re heading out to explore the Roseland Peninsula or enjoying a slow start overlooking the harbour, it’s the perfect place to begin your day.

Our bakery reflects the simple pleasures of coastal living — quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation and a warm welcome.

The Wine Bar

From Golden Hour to Last Pour

As daylight fades, Elysium transitions into an intimate wine bar designed for relaxed evenings and memorable conversations.

Showcasing a carefully curated collection of wines from celebrated regions and emerging producers, our wine list has been selected to complement the restaurant’s Mediterranean-inspired menu while offering guests the opportunity to discover something new.

Enjoy a glass on the terrace overlooking the harbour, pair your wine with seasonal sharing plates, or settle in for an evening that stretches long into the night.

Elegant yet unpretentious, the wine bar embodies the laid-back sophistication that defines Elysium St Mawes.

Celebrating Cornwall

At the heart of every dining experience at Elysium is a commitment to Cornwall’s exceptional producers. Fresh seafood, artisan ingredients, seasonal vegetables and locally sourced products feature throughout our menus, allowing the quality of the ingredients to take centre stage.

By combining Cornish provenance with Mediterranean inspiration, we’ve created a dining destination that feels both rooted in its surroundings and inspired by the world’s great coastal food cultures.
